Since child pavadairayan is sitting on the lap of the Angalaparameswari Amman, those praying for children, for marriage and for the removal of evil forces worship here to have their wishes fulfilled. Goddess Angalaparameswari being the family deity for many communities, the tonsure of hair and ear-boring ceremony for children are performed in this temple with devotion.
Those who crave for children and want to get rid of the evil forces used to take bath in the temple tank and worship the deity for 3 weeks continuously. Further, people participate in the Amavasai night pooja continuously for three consecutive amavasai’s and get the blessings and benevolence of the Ambal. angalamman temple choolai angalamman temple choolai
